100-peso flights out of Mérida
Aeromar, the domestic airline, is lowering the altitude on its fares, if only briefly.
Its flights are 100 pesos plus tax to all its national destinations as part of a campaign to boost tourism in the low season. The campaign began today and lasts through Saturday.
“Users who buy their tickets during today and tomorrow (Sept. 16) will be able to use them from Oct. 6 of this year until March 22, 2018,” explained airline spokesman René Giesemann. Only some dates are embargoed from the promotion.

The executive explained that the campaign will stimulate Aeromar’s growth Mexico’s airline industry.
Travelers in Mérida stand to benefit. Among the routes included in the promotion are one-way flights to Cancun, Oaxaca, Veracruz and Villahermosa. Flights back home are offered the same price.
