Six coronavirus patients died, including a 6-month-old, and another 95 were found to be infected in the past 24 hours.
New infections included 80 in Merida, Yucatan health authorities announced Monday.
That brings to 3,191 the number of coronavirus infections in Yucatan since the crisis began. Of those. 2,402 have recovered including 56 on Monday. Deaths now total 373.
The baby, who was from Candelaria, Campeche, already had multiple congenital anomalies, doctors said. Two family members presented mild symptoms of COVID-19.
Two patients died Merida while the others came from Tekax, Kanasín and Muxupip. The average age of the adults who perished was 56.
Of active cases, 212 are in stable condition and in home quarantine, while 198 are hospitalized, two fewer than yesterday.
The age range of the patients is from one month to 94 years.
