Amongst the suite of digital tools being offered are online sports betting solutions, player account management systems, and a bespoke managed services system. Additionally, Aristocrat Interactive will provide the self-service betting terminals used for sports betting and other over-the-counter solutions.

The Gambling Market in Mexico

The news comes at a great time for the country, with Mexico’s gambling market going from strength to strength. Online casinos are a growing market and gaining significant popularity with local players. Mexican operators are allowed to apply for online gambling licenses, with games like slots, blackjack, roulette, and poker available to players. The global gambling industry is projected to reach $11.47 billion by 2025. The growth rate is set to remain at 3% between 2025 and 2029, reaching a staggering $13.3 billion by 2029.

iGaming is set to play a huge part in this growth. Players are continually drawn to interactive gambling platforms that can cater to players’ unique needs. Slots, table games, live casinos, and sports betting are all available online. Many platforms also offer other incentives for players as well. For example, Instant Casino’s casino cashback program provides valued clients with a safety net. This is a 10% weekly cashback bonus, which offers a cushion against any losses for players. The offer comes with no wagering requirements for players and is available to everyone who engages with the platform.

It is platforms like this, and others, that have many Mexican players turning to online gambling. With superior online casino experiences, high-quality user interfaces, and special offers for signing up.

Land-based casinos in Mexico are also thriving, with 380 active land-based casinos across the country as of December 2023. However, the Mexican government has come under fire for outdated legislation; despite this, it remains a competitive landscape. To open a land-based casino, operators need a licence and have to go through other red tape and procedures. This is why operators are now investing in advanced technology to keep up wth both online and land-based competition.

Land-based casinos continue to drive locals and tourists to their establishments and have become a huge part of Mexico’s entertainment culture, with a continued increase in visitors and money spent year on year.
