Taste of Mérida, Fundacíon BAI’s annual gala event, returns March 1, featuring five superb wine and gourmet food pairings by the area’s top chefs and restaurants.
A silent auction will be another highlight of the evening.
Tickets (2,000 pesos) include entry to the silent auction. Entire tables are also available.
Proceeds benefit BAI, a nonprofit organization that works to prevent teenage pregnancies, the spread of HIV and other STIs in Yucatán.
Fundación BAI’s peer-to-peer education program empowers Yucatán’s youth to live healthy lives. Their permanent HIV testing system links to a program that counsels people who test positive.
