The Olmecas de Tabasco was victorious in its series against the Leones de Yucatán at the Kukulkan stadium after a 5-4 win in their second game.
In the first inning, the Leones’ Walter Ibarra singled to center field, allowing Yadir Drake’s first run of the night.
But in the fourth, “los Cabezones,” led by Edwin García and Francisco Rivera, turned the score around, although the advantage would not last long thanks to catcher Sebastián Valle, who hit two home runs.
The game’s defining moment came with Olmecas’ Ramón Hernández’s dramatic tie-breaking home run in the eighth inning.
