

Mérida, Yucatán — Two municipal programs were launched today to engage the city’s growing community of cyclers.
The City has already built 14 bike paths with an investment of 34 million pesos. Now, here come places to park your bike.

The first biciestacionamiento is in the backyard of City Hall. More bike racks will be installed at the public parking lot Rosandrema, on Calle 56 between 45 and 47; Portales Santa Lucia, Calle 60 between 53 and 55; St. Lucia, Calle 55 between 58 and 60, and San Juan, Calle 62 between 69 and 71.
All are free.
Mayor Renan Barrera also initiated the program “Let Me See” to distribute reflective safety bracelets for cyclists.
