Seven private homes are opened to the public for one day only, a chance to glimpse at the most dynamic architecture and decor the Centro offers. As you know, the facades along the street tell you nothing about what’s inside. On this day, all is revealed. (Here’s our story about the event.)
This is a unique opportunity to see behind the facades of seven beautiful professionally designed historical homes, featuring the creative work of Gabriela Cornelio, Adi Perez, Victor Carrillo Alayola & Ingrid Peón Escalante, Deborah LaChapelle, Remixto and World Studio International.
Fundación BAI A.C. is a registered non-profit established in México in 2007, and all funds raised will be used for their programs, focused on reducing HIV, sexually transmitted infections and teen pregnancy in the Yucatán.
Tickets: $400 pesos, and $150 pesos for students. You will be given a map to follow on your own within the appointed hours. Tickets include a complimentary drink during the tour at Cantina La Negrita and at the end of the tour at Hennessy’s Irish Pub or SoHo Galleries. Tickets are available in advance at Hennessy’s, Cantina La Negrita, Bollicine Aperitivo – Bar, and Robert Abuda Salon or by calling 999 292-8436. Tickets are available the day of the event starting at 11.30 at Hennessy’s.
This year, doors open a half-hour early, so you have even more time to explore on this self-guided walking tour. Afterwards, join the hundreds of fellow attendees with a free drink at either SoHo Gallery or Hennessy’s Irish Pub, or have your drink during the tour hours at Cantina La Negrita. But don’t take too long of a break. You won’t want to miss a thing.
Yucatán Expat Life is pleased to return as media sponsor of this event. Here is our story about last year’s Showcase.
