8th annual MEL Artist Studio Tour

More than 33 studios and 42 artists are participating in this year’s Artist Studio Tour, sponsored by the Merida English Library.

The self-guided, two-day tour is 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Feb. 15 and 16.

A weekend pass is 300 pesos in advance, or 350 the day of the tour.

The Artist Studio Tour, now in its eighth year, includes many favorites, as well as more than 10 new artists.

The fundraiser is for the Merida English Library and gives important exposure to local, national and international artists living and working in Merida. Many of our artists are represented in galleries and museums around the world, but the MEL Artist Studio Tour is the only time their studios are open to the public.

The Artist Studio Tour allows you to spend quality time discussing the creative process with each artist and, if the mood strikes, you can purchase a work for your home. You’ll find sculptors, painters, printmakers, photographers and more in this talented group.

Tickets will be available at the Merida English Library starting mid-January and can be purchased at the following locations.
