Andrea Pasos, ‘Transfiguraciones: A Través del Inconsciente’

Andrea Pasos’ exhibition, “Transfiguration: Through the Unconscious” in English, opens at La Galería La Eskalera 8 p.m. Friday, July 20.

Pasos began her studies in drawing and painting at the Casa de la Cultura in Cancun. Later, she moved to Mérida, where she continued her studies with Mtro. Alonso Gutiérrez. She studied art history, painting and drawing at the Goya Cultural Forum in Mexico City and on her return to Mérida began classes with Mtro. Ariel Guzmán Ayala.

Currently she continues her artistic and theoretical training, exploring new techniques and disciplines in art.

At 25, she is mounting her first solo exhibit with this show.
