At a very young age, sculptor Santiago Polanco Torres discovered his gift of reproducing images from his environment in wood and other materials.
The 2016 winner at Yucatán’s “Concurso de madera, alfarería y talabarteria,” Santiago will share his experience and knowledge of the craft.
Family traditions and tales influenced him to create sacred art pieces.
