Cuarteto Yucatan presents Basically Beethoven, a series of five concerts sponsored in part by the Merida city government. Held in the Olimpo on Thursdays at 7:30 p.m., and feature great string quartets by Beethoven, plus smaller works influenced by him. The first concert opens with his very first string quartet and the final concert features his final movement, written at the end of his life. Tickets on sale here.
