Grant Spradling has lived in Merida since the 1980s. In “Chelem Papers,” named for the town where he goes to gather his thoughts, he recalls a full life, starting as a kid in the Dust Bowl, and stints as a clergyman, Broadway singer, and arts executive. This is the official launch of his much-awaited book. More backstory here: https://yucatanmagazine.com/23705-2/
One signing is in the Centro (at Hennessy’s), on Tuesday, and another is at the beach (at El Bull Pen in Chelem, of course) on Wednesday.
