Coliseo Yucatan, will host the band Chicago, which is celebrating its 50 years with a tour across Mexico.
Chicago has four scheduled dates in Mexico, starting in Mérida on Sept. 6. It continues in Mexico City, Guadalajara and finally in Monterrey.
The band, made up of Robert Lamm, Lee Loughnane, James Pankow, Tris Imboden, Walter Parazaider, Keith Howland, Lou Pardini, Ray Herrmann, Walfredo Reyes Jr. and Jeff Coffey, was originally a rock ‘n’ roll band. Today, they also perform softer rock and ballads.
The group has 24 studio albums, five Grammy Awards, American Music Awards, a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and a place in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. Chicago is also one of the few bands to sell more than 45 million records.
