Cuarteto Yucatán at Olimpo

With a repertoire of well-known classical works a concert will be presented by Christopher Collins Lee and el Cuarteto Yucatán (the Yucatán Quartet) at the Olimpo Cultural Center.
The group will offer the concert “The great successes of music for string quartet” Sunday, Sept. 8 at 6 p.m., and again Wednesday, Sept. 12 at 9 p.m.
The program includes Beethoven’s Op. 18 Quartet No. 5, Benjamin Britten’s No. 1 Quartet and Pachelbel’s Canon.
The concert program is very light, easy to listen to the public of all ages.
Besides Collins, Timothy Myall, Nikolay Dimitrov and Nadezda Golubeva round out the quartet.
Tickets are 50 pesos, or 25 for students and Inapam card-holders.
