Demián Flores’s exhibition, De-Construcciones, opens at 8 p.m.
The Oaxaca-born contemporary artist works in multiple media which often mixes images from his rural childhood home of Juchitán with those related to modern Mexico City. It also often including the mixture of pop culture images with those iconic of Mexico’s past. His work has been exhibited in Mexico City, Europe, Guatemala and Cuba, and now Mérida.
