A great opportunity to take some free Spanish classes and help local student teachers get some hands-on experience.
MEL is partnering with the School of Education at UADY (Universidad Autonoma de Yucatan, the local public University) to offer free Spanish classes. Students studying to be Spanish teachers will prepare and teach the classes. Each class will have two teachers.
The classes are designed for foreigners living in or visiting Mérida who want to improve their skills.
March 14: Ordering at a restaurant and use of por and para.
March 21: Asking for directions and getting services over the phone.
April 11: Expressing emotions and use of haber and tener.
April 18: TBD, depending on the requests of students at previous sessions
