George McClellan: Day trips from Mérida

Want to get out of the city for a day? Want to explore a nearby pueblo or Maya ruin, or both? Join us this Saturday, Nov 8 at 11 AM, when George McClellan will offer some suggestions for day-trips in the area.

George, a MEL volunteer, Yucatan history buff and traveler, has ideas of places to explore within easy travel distance of Merida, with colorful histories, interesting archaeological sites, good food, or all of the above. He’ll also have some recommendations for car or bus travel, shopping, and lunch, accompanied by some great photos. This talk is part of MEL’s Saturday Lecture Series.
