Meet Peruvian-American artist Grimanesa Amorós at the Escuela Superior de Artes de Yucatán (ESAY), in the historic train station at Calle 55 and 48, 6 p.m. Friday, Oct. 11. Meeting organized by La Cupula Cultural Center. The New York-based artist is known for her large-scale light installations.
Amorós most recently built a monumental light installation, to be installed in Prospect Park, New York, creating pulsating red and white tubing that crowned a sculpture in light. Read more about her here.
