The new exhibition “Anamnesis III” by Liliane Karnouk opens with a reception for the artist 6-9 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 19.
Born in Cairo, Karnouk is a Vancouver-based visual artist and former professor of arts at The American University in Cairo. She is a graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Rome, the Université du Québec à Montréal and the University of British Columbia (MA, 1971). She lived and worked in Europe, Egypt and Eastern Canada. She is based in Vancouver.
