Christopher Collins Lee is back again for the 2018-2019 lecture season.
Collins Lee is the first concertmaster of the Orquesta Sinfonica de Yucatan and wears many hats. He is an American Grammy-award winning violinist, concertmaster, and conductor and has performed all over the world as an “Official Music Ambassador” of the U.S. Department of State. Don’t miss this opportunity to spend an hour with this fascinating and talented musician.
Free and open to the public, donations accepted.
For the past seven years, MEL has sponsored a lecture series from mid-October to mid-April. There are always a couple of talks about some aspect of the history of Mexico or the Yucatan or the city of Merida. Most of the programs are free; for some, there is a nominal suggested donation.
Wednesdays, 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. (unless otherwise noted)
NOTE: Events are occasionally postponed or canceled, or a listing could contain an error, so confirm any activity with the organizer when possible.
