Tonight’s movie is the 2004 drama-comedy “Sideways” with Paul Giamatti and Thomas Haden Church, on a trip through the California wine country, where they get into a romantic tangle with Sandra Oh and Virginia Madsen. Hilarity ensues.
The film did a lot for the California wine industry, but Merlot drinkers will be in for a shock.
