As part of Noche Blanca, La Galería Eskalera is hosting a reception for Mérida portrait painter Rodolfo Baeza‘s exposition “Punk.”
Baeza was born to Yucatecan parents in Mexico City in 1977, moving to Mérida the following year. In 2001 he moved back to Mexico City where he studied animation and cinematography with Rene Castillo and Mario Luna respectively.
In 2006 he returned to Merida and founded his design firm 100Pies Motion & Design while developing his art.
He has exhibited his work individually and in group shows in galleries, cultural centers, auctions, museums and exhibitions in Mexico and Italy.
