Saint Luke’s Feast begins with sandwich-making and an act of kindness, continues with deep discussion and ends with worship and fellowship.
It begins at 10 a.m. Saturday at the private home of a parishioner. Volunteers will work together making sandwiches for the O’Horán Hospital. Distribution of the sandwiches is right afterwards. Contact the church for location information.
That evening, at 7:30, is an evening of socializing and discussion at the worship space. The topic is “Being a woman in Yucatán: Affirming herself as a person and conquering her rights.” Various human rights activists will be will facilitate the bilingual discussion.
On Sunday, a solemn, bilingual celebration of the Eucharist is at 11:15 a.m., followed by a festive community lunch. All are welcome.
