In December 2020, a group of vendors broke off from the original Slow Food Market and started an alternative Slow Food Market north of the Centro. In Parque Gonzálo Guerrero, across from the Montejo prep school campus on Calle 60, the Slow Food market is every Saturday from 8:30 a.m. until 1 p.m. The original Slow Food market continues in its regular García Ginerés spot. Slow Food markets are part of an international network that promotes local, small and sustainable producers.
