An event every week that begins at 9:00 am on Saturday, repeating indefinitely
With all kinds of foods for sale, this open-air market in Mérida is part of the worldwide Slow Food network. Its express purpose is to promote small-scale production and regional culinary traditions. Mérida is lucky to have two such markets; the only other one in the entire country is in Mexico City. The newer Slow Food Market is north of the Centro.
During the coronavirus contingencies, the market continues under strict social distancing protocols. Additionally, home delivery is available at 999-640-0765; orders are taken Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
NOTE: Events are occasionally postponed or canceled, or a listing could contain an error, so confirm any activity with the organizer when possible.
