The Tortilla Master Class returns Thursday Nov. 15 and Thursday Nov. 22, each at 2-4:30 p.m., for 300 pesos, in Col. Xcumpich.
In this hands-on workshop, join Susi in preparing the dough, making, cooking and eating the tortillas, while learning about the history, culture and nutritional value of this Mexican staple.
With small groups in a home (air-conditioned) environment, come learn the slow-food process, practical tips for tortilla at home and learn to speak some Maya along the way.
Session includes all materials, welcome drink and fresh handmade tortillas (by you!) with dips as a light lunch.
