Today’s selection is Leave No Trace (2018), an indie film by director Debra Granik, who received an Oscar nomination for Winter’s Bone (2010).
It is the story of a veteran and his 13-year-old daughter living off the grid in an urban park in Portland, Ore. Life is idyllic until something happens that throws them off-balance. A multiple award winner at independent film festivals, it is one of the few films to hold a 100 percent rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
