‘The Favourite’ at Wednesday movie night

By popular demand, Wednesday’s movie is “The Favourite” (2018), the period comedy-drama telling the story of an ailing Queen Anne and the two women behind the throne.
Starring Olivia Coleman (winner of the Best Actress Golden Globe), with Emma Stone and Rachel Weisz, and directed by rising star Yorgos Lanthimos, “The Favourite” is tied with “Roma” for the most number of Oscar nominations for this year, not to mention the 102 wins at international film festivals.
