The Harlem Globetrotters delighted kids and families during a visit yesterday at CAIMEDE, the Center for Comprehensive Care of Homeless Children.
The touring basketball troupe is touring Yucatán, showing off their well-known tricks and stunts. They played the Washington Generals in a series of friendly games iduring four sold-out shows at the newly renovated Polifórum Zamná.
They took a break from play to visit fans, and give autographs, on at least one off-court visit. Their appeareance at CAIMEDE was a boost for the children and adolescents. The shelter houses adolescents who have been separated from family; they are given psychological, legal and educational support.
