Model Nina Agdal, film crew, stir up the Centro
Mérida, Yucatán — Danish model Nina Agdal, who happens to be the girlfriend of actor Leonardo Dicaprio, caused a stir Thursday morning after being spotted in the Centro.
Nina’s presence in Yucatán coincides with the photographs circulating this week of the couple vacationing in Cancun with Leonardo’s friend, the actor Lukas Haas.
The Sports Illustrated cover model, 24, last Monday posted this from Cancun, with the caption “Monday blues”:
Meanwhile, a production company was filming at the Plaza Grande, Las Monjas and the Church of the Third Order. Traffic was diverted to accommodate 60 crew members.
The filming was reportedly for a government-commissioned promotional video, although Diario de Yucatán said a European sunscreen commercial was also being completed.c
