Mérida, Yucatán — A break in the rain is allowing the city to intensive efforts to fill in potholes.
So far this year, 1.8 million potholes have been repaired, according to the city. It has taken 19 crews, each consisting of 10 workers, and a budget of MX$133,000 to accomplish this.
Residents can report potholes here. They aim for a response time of 48 to 72 hours to fix your bache.
The city has 2,000 kilometers, or 1,243 miles, of street surface to maintain.
