A well-liked events venue is donating its space to help at-risk Yucatán kids in their personal and emotional development.
The independent volunteer group Yucatan Kids supports disadvantaged local children to broaden their horizons with English instruction and educational and cultural activities.
The organization’s next fundraiser is planned 6-9 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 26.

The public is invited to enjoy music, food, fun, a live art auction, and a raffle at Casa de Las Torres, Calle 75, 503 between 64 and 62 in Mérida’s Centro. Tickets (700 pesos in advance / 800 pesos at the door) are on sale at Restaurante Hacienda Teya, the Merida English Library, and Joyeria Ricalde.
