The electricity commission is continuing its planned power cuts while it maintains its infrastructure.
This time, the CFE is cutting power to the privadas and exclusive neighborhoods of northern Mérida. Power could be off at anytime between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. today, officials said.
Several other communities across the state will also be affected. CFE announced the cuts shortly after 7 p.m. Wednesday, giving roughly 12 hours’ notice to customers.
