Merida, Yucatan — More than a week ahead of schedule despite a particularly rainy “rainy season,” a resurfacing project on the prolongación of the Paseo de Montejo should be completed by Tuesday, says Mayor Renán Barrera Concha.
Traffic is 90 percent back to normal on the major artery, where work began May 5 at Avenida José Díaz Bolio (Calle 21 at Col. Mexico).
The last phase of the project covers 370 linear meters from Calle 21 to Calle 13 at Fracc. Campestre street to the intersection of the extension with Díaz Bolio Avenue (21st Street).
