In time for the month in which we honor women, SoHo Galleries has a new exhibit in a new location.
The Women’s Exhibition at Secretaría de Relaciones Exteriores Yucatán at the Harbor Mall brings fine art to the gubernatorial office.
The new SRE offices are on the second floor of the fashion mall.
Aside from hosting artwork, the SRE is where Mexican citizens get passports and where foreigners become citizens. They receive hundreds of people every day.
The press and other personalities are invited to its inauguration at noon on Wednesday.
On view are paintings from Cuban artists Ihovany Abreu García and Mecánica Distributiva, one from Juan Carlos Breceda, of México, and two pieces from Mexican sculptors Otón Rivera Víctor Dávalos.
