Daylight Saving Time is not on the same schedule as the U.S. and Canada.
This timely reminder comes as everyone in Yucatán and most of Mexico is reminded to set their clocks back one hour before heading to bed on Saturday, Oct. 29.
DST here officially ends at 2 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 30.
In Cancun and the rest of Quintana Roo state, pay this message no mind. You’re on Eastern Standard Time, and nothing changes.
Canada and the U.S. will catch up with Mexico at 2 a.m Sunday, Nov. 6, when those countries will put Daylight Saving Time to bed for 2016.
