The Vacation Outlet Expo 2017 begins Friday at the Siglo XXI Convention Center and runs through Sunday.
The exhibition, which is free and open to the public, has gathered 28 travel agencies and 30 hotel chains that will offer more than 10,000 vacation packages, many with special discounts, reports Notimex.
For this 11th edition of the expo, organizers expect more than 25,000 visitors.
Vendors cater to couples, families, student groups, nature lovers and even travelers who are bringing their pets along.
The event’s guest country is the Dominican Republic, which will promote several of its tourist attractions: a coastline with more than 400 kilometers of beaches, its historic cities, culture, mountains, waterfalls and exclusive golf courses.
