A museum in La Mejorada dedicated to the Yucatecan songbook.

This “door to the world of romantic music” greets visitors with life-size sculptures of composer Pepe Domínguez and two trova singers, Guty Cárdenas and Ricardo Palmerín.

Located since 1978 in a retired school building, the museum preserves and promotes Yucatecan music. It exhibits oil portraits, relics and documents related to the region’s proud musical heritage.

Open Tuesday to Friday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday-Sunday 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Entry: 20 pesos (free on Sunday)
