Parque de Santiago

The centerpiece to one of the Centro’s oldest neighborhoods, Parque de Santiago is dominated by its church, founded in 1637, with most existing construction built in the 19th century.

The mercado next door has flowers, fruits, vegetables, and some of the best values for simple meals.

Live, big-band music invites dancing every Tuesday night.

Nearby shopping is pretty basic, although some art galleries and interesting cafés are appearing in the area.
