That long stretch of refreshingly (to some) cool weather has gone away for the weekend.

Heat and humidity have settled in its place, with some afternoon rain possible today. Humidity is already at 93 percent this morning.

The National Water Commission (Conagua) reports that cold front No. 30 will travel along the coast of the Gulf of Mexico to the southwest, where it is expected to stall.

Saturday is dawning with mild temperatures, with east-southeast winds from 15 to 25 kilometers per hour from the north and northeast, with gusts of up to 45 on the coast of the entire Peninsula.

Humidity lingers Sunday, with partly cloudy or cloudy skies in the south and northwest of Yucatán; center and south of Quintana Roo; as well as in the north, center and southwest of Campeche.

Temperatures will be warm to hot during the day and from mild to warm at dawn, with east-southeast wind from 15 to 25 km/h with gusts of 40 km/h in coastal areas.
