Six months after Elevation Burger opened in Mérida’s north, another U.S. chain has started flipping its own patties in Altabrisa.

Fuddruckers became the franchise’s second fast casual restaurant in Mexico on Monday. Regional franchisee Fuddruckers Mérida unveiled an approximately 5,400-square-foot location in the upscale Plaza Altabrisa fashion mall.

Fuddruckers joins other U.S. chains such as IHOP, Chilis and P.F. Chang’s at Altabrisa.

Fuddruckers was founded in 1979, serving all kinds of creatively-crafted burgers. Their menu boasts never-frozen local beef and sesame-topped buns baked from scratch on-site throughout the day.
