circuitogalleriesMerida’s Department of Culture is providing a bus for gallery-hoppers.

The art-gallery circuit begins today and repeats the first Sunday of each month.

The bus visits 13 spaces and is led by Humberto Suaste, who heads Galeria La Bodega. It begins at Mejorada Park and heads to Calle 57, and from there to Calle 66, to La Ermita, and then to galleries along 60. Bus tours begin at 10:30 a.m. and last until 1:30 p.m., but participating spaces will be open 9 a..m. to 2 p.m.

Participating galleries include: Galería Mérida, Luis Coral, Juan Pablo Bavio, La Pantera Negra, La Eskalera, Estudio Galería, La Amapola, Calle Estampa, In La’kech, Tendejón del Arte, Anónimo and Restaurante Amaro.
