Not since its 2017 World Premiere at the International Film Festival Rotterdam has the director’s cut of the Ebersole Hughes cult film “Mansfield 66/67” been shown in public, but now it’s on the big screen seven times at Salón Gallos.
The film explores the final two years of the film sensation Jayne Mansfield.
For the opening night, the directors Todd Hughes and P. David Ebersole — who reside in Mérida — will take questions from the audience following the 7 p.m. screening.
Another Ebersole Hughes film, “House of Cardin,” will be screened. The documentary follows the life of the legendary fashion designer.
