Meet the Beatles! fundraising concert

A fundraising concert at Hacienda Santa Cruz will launch the 2020 season of performances by Cuarteto Yucatan for continuing the trajectory of bringing performances of chamber music to Merida. Tickets sales do not cover all the costs incurred in putting on concerts.

In 2019 the quartet celebrated its 9th anniversary and was named Ensemble in Residence of the new series of concerts Conciertos de Bolsillo at the Palacio de la Musica.

The “Meet the Beatles” fundraising concert will feature favorite numbers from the Fab Four. Tickets, and raffle tickets will be on sale starting Dec. 26 at Hotel Zamna, Calle 53 #547, x 70 y 72, Centro, Merida, Monday to Saturday between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.

Cost:

• $350 regular seating tickets
• $550 concert patrons (“groupies”) including priority seating, John Lennon glasses and an item of Beatles memorabilia
• $500 raffle tickets

Prizes for the best ’60s costume, contests and other surprises. Wear your best ’60s attire.
Bring your love beads.

Elizabeth Arnott will be the Mistress of Ceremonies.
