Casa del Arbol is a tastefully designed 4-bedroom, 4.5-bathroom property in one of Merida’s most desired neighborhoods, La Mejorada.

For all its charms, one of the most attractive features of this property is its flexibility. The home is divided into two, each with its own entrance from the street. This allows you to live in either half and rent the other, perhaps using the larger of the two homes as a bed and breakfast. An interior door connects the two homes.

The smaller house has a living room, eat-in kitchen, and en suite bath which includes a tub. Next door, the main house features a living room with a half bath and a stylish courtyard, three en suite bedrooms (including two in a newly built two-story casita in the rear of the property), and an eat-in kitchen looking out to the pool and the huge trees surrounding it.

Casa del Arbol’s charming patio boasts two stunning mature trees, each providing ample shade. The pool has an infinity edge, a fountain and a shallow sun-shelf area for relaxation.

The rear casita has identical en suite bedrooms on each floor, both accessible from the outside and ideal for paying guests. Each room has views of trees and the patio. The space downstairs features its own private garden at the base of the impressive trunk of the lush Ceiba tree.
