The organizers of the MEL Lecture Series are reviving the program, and here are the topics scheduled each Wednesday for the first few weeks:
- Nov. 17: Arqueóloga Lilia Fernandez: “Ancestral Tastes: Ancient Maya Cuisine”
- Nov. 24: Patricia Sales: “Health Care in Mérida”
- Dec. 1: Dra. Marina Aguirre: Topic TBA
The lecture series will run weekly through the end of March and each presentation begins at 7 p.m. at the library.
Upcoming lectures will cover a variety of topics including local and national history, home maintenance, art, and archaeology.
