More South Americans booking Easter vacations here

After a yearlong promotion effort, the Easter holiday will bring about 25 percent more visitors from South America, busy travel agents predict.
Expect to see more tourists from Argentina, Colombia, Chile, Uruguay and Paraguay, a travel agent trade group told Sipse media.
The fall of the peso has been an opportunity for travel agents to lure bargain hunters.
A spokesperson for the trade group said that promotional work aimed at South America as well as Europe is paying off. At least three large tourist hotels are already fully booked on Holy Week.
That bodes well for the upcoming summer tourism season, which tends to attract more European visitors.
Holy Week, which commemorates the Passion of Christ, begins on Palm Sunday, which this year falls on March 20. It precedes Easter Sunday on March 27.
