Multiple Olympic medalist Simone Biles has been spotted on the Yucatán Peninsula vacationing with friends.
Judging from photographs posted on her social media accounts, the world-renowned gymnast has been enjoying her time on the beach and taking a much deserved break from her rigorous training regimen.
Biles is said to have enjoyed several massages, as well as outings to some of Cancún’s most exclusive restaurants and clubs.
After being recognized on the beach, Biles, 25, posed with other tourists as well as locals for selfies.
It is unknown how long the gymnast is to remain, but on Instagram, she hinted that she would like to take a day trip to the archaeological site of Chichén Itzá.

Biles made headlines around the world after dropping out of competition during Tokyo’s summer games.
After her decision to bow out of the competition, Biles earned her scorn in some corners of the media.
However, once things cooled down she was widely applauded for her decision to put her mental and physical health above everything else.
With 25 medals, including 19 gold, Biles stands as the most successful gymnast of all time.
