The Evolución Animal 2024 wall calendar is picture-perfect, just $225 pesos/$15 USD/$20 CAD each.
Each month has a charming animal portrait and is sponsored by a local business (we’re proud that Yucatán Magazine took the February page and the back cover).
Evolución survives entirely on donations and uses its revenue to supply food and medical care to 700 stray dogs, cats, and pigs.
“We believe that our calendar sponsors are the coolest in the world, and our pekitos and mishos spiffed themselves up to thank them with their best smiles and poses for their immense hearts and great generosity, which has allowed radical change in many lives for the better,” said shelter director Silvia Cortez.
The calendar has become a yearly tradition, this time photographed by Pitahaya Fotographia and Mark Swain. Laurel Emery provided expert graphic design as part of a creative team alongside Jane Clarkson and Patricia Holland.
