High-end showroom by Brenda Verdin situated in a gorgeous historic building near Parque Mejorada.

The store was started by Brenda Verdin, who moved to Mérida and learned the challenges of living with heat and humidity.

“I began to see how the dreaded mold (fungus and it is toxic) was starting to appear all my things, especially on my bath towels. These, in addition to taking up a lot of storage space, were not able to dry well and the musty smell that accompanied them was so unpleasant that the least I wanted to do was use them on my body.

“Soon I knew Turkish towels and the great characteristics of Turkish cotton, I put them to the test in my personal life and they truly changed my life.

“Which led me to create Mantarraya, a textile brand for everyday use with versatile and multifunctional products. With a careful manufacturing process in all its stages, achieving safe and friendly products for people and the environment.”
